Sr. Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and lead all aspects of newly contracted projects from the sales team to production, until final delivery and installation. This position requires a combination of skills in project management, sales, construction, customer service and logistics. This position will interface with virtually all company departments as well as being the primary point of contact for the client. Successful candidates will be highly professional, be able to process information from many sources, distill down to important elements, and communicate clearly to all parties impacted.
Plan and coordinate project plans for each project to reflect progress from planning through production and to final installation.
Communicate plans throughout the organization and to the client and alert the entire internal team to any deviations to schedule as they happen.
Act as the client liaison to prioritize issues within the Operations team as well as manage multiple, potentially conflicting requirements for optimal results.
Central point of contact for submittals, RFI's, changes orders.
Prepare periodic billings based on agreed upon contract document language.
Primary responsibility for financial performance of project Work with Operations team to coordinate shipping schedules, equipment and logistics .
Manage purchasing of all project materials with Operations oversight.
Organize and run effective safety meetings and conference calls required as part of the project.
Develop action plans; publish minutes, and follow-up on action items.
Coordinate deliveries to the construction site.
This includes determining the correct sequence of materials and equipment, methods of installation, and timing, all of which are dependent on the specific project details.
Deliveries must be tracked and communicated to the office team, client and the field team.
Coordinate the resolution of client concerns or site challenges that happen from time to time.
Communicate field quality issues back to Operations team and follow up for resolution.
Travel as dictated by job requirements, regardless of location.
Requires both Day and Night shifts.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Five +years' experience in a project management position required. Must have experience working with a large general contractor or large specialty subcontractor /supplier in a project management capacity. Excellent organizational skills, comfortable with planning and logistics proficient in project management software.
