Working At Endless Events

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week. Generally, we work within US hours however, we heavily rely on asynchronous communication as our team is spread across the world. We like to balance our company vision & goals with individual autonomy for you to do your best work possible. Due to the nature of our business within the events industry you may be required to work extended hours, holidays and weekends.

Endless has been a remote-only company since 2015. We want you to work wherever in the world that makes you happy, inspires you daily and helps you become the person you wish to be (but with a stable internet connection)! You will work with team members scattered around the world and across time zones to build a better culture and service. Remote at Endless means you are comfortable with technology and are inherently self-sufficient in problem-solving and digital communication.

Job Summary

The Director of Marketing leads the entire marketing department to continue our vision for making the event planning process as easy as possible. You will be leading inbound marketing initiatives such as content marketing, influencer marketing, and great branding. This marketing helps meeting & conference planners understand virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. This position is responsible for:

  • Execute Endless Events' overall marketing strategy and brand

  • Lead & manage a small but mighty team that executes our content, social, branding, PR, and marketing automation

  • Work inside the teams to execute marketing tactics when necessary (building landing pages, posting on social, writing content, creating automation, etc)

  • Build campaigns that generate marketing qualified leads that become opportunities

  • Ensuring all content and marketing assets match our branding and content guidelines

  • Collaborate with the sales department for Smarketing (sales + marketing) initiatives

  • Managing marketing partnerships with other event industry companies and individuals

  • Review analytics inside of tools such as Hubspot to decide which marketing initiatives are most effective

  • Train marketing team on new marketing tactics and strategies & communicate those strategies to the rest of the company

  • Share your expertise in event management by posting regularly on social media, and participating in podcasts & webina

Position Requirements

  • Experience in the events industry (specifically event management)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or related field

  • Previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary marketing team of individual contributors and managers

  • Ability to choose marketing initiatives based on data and lean methodology of testing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be a thought leader on guest blogs, podcasts, and willingness to be on video content

  • Passion, excitement, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this through writing, video, podcasts, etc.

  • Great organizational skills to lead multiple marketing initiatives

  • Highly encouraged to be inbound certified through HubSpot

  • Eye for great web and graphic design to ensure our brand is always represented well

  • Ability to work independently and remotely with little supervision

  • Fast and reliable internet connection & computer

  • Bias towards immediate action and results

  • Willingness and desire to be part of the foundation of a growing company

  • Experience working at a company that utilized tools such as HubSpot, Ahrefs, Basecamp, LinkedIn Ads, etc.

  • HubSpot certified across multiple of their certifications such as Inbound marketing certified, Content marketing certified, Contextual marketing certified, HubSpot Software Certified
