ENDORSEMENTS

I have met a lot of event executives in my wine career and none of them have ever compared with Christy Giambattista. Christy combines her incredible talent for events and communications skills with an extraordinary sense of strategy and timing. Christy has the essential characteristics: smart and analytic, fast and responsive, intelligent risk taking, and focused. She applies those essential characteristics in her understanding and caring about the events industry. I cannot recommend Christy enough. She is simply a superstar -a true leader- in her field and incredible woman of integrity.

We have been working with Christy for a few years now, she is a pleasure to work with. I have seen her staff several trade shows (notably the SEMA Show) for the associations and they love the enthusiasm, talent, and professionalism she brings with her everyday on show site.

My staffing experience using Christy was unsurpassed,  she was able to find me quality, competent administrative assistants on an ongoing basis and  a warehouse manager with 24 hrs. notice.   As an owner of a tradeshow supply business relying on Christy allowed me to focus on my clients during the frenetic tradeshow season!

Don Svehla has been in the tradeshow industry his entire life, beginning as the son of a tradeshow trucker.

He began by working at Giltspur, and coming from the show floors of Chicago, he realized the need for an industry news source back in 1993. With the support of industry friends, he began putting his 20+ years of tradeshow experience down on paper. The result was the first Exhibit City News, which launched in June 1994 and was a small eight-page newsletter for Chicago’s tradeshow workers and community.

By 1996, the newspaper had grown into a 32-page national newspaper bearing the tagline “Uniting the Nation’s Tradeshow Community.” Over the past 24 years, ECN has evolved into an indispensable resource for industry news and information – both online and in glossy magazine print.  Contact him at DonS@ExhibitCityNews.com.
